As a family of art enthusiasts from Germany, our stay at Het Anker was a delightful experience. The welcoming and inclusive atmosphere made us feel right at home. The hotel's traditional character, run by a local family, added a personal touch to our stay. Our children, under 2 years old, felt safe and comfortable in the family-friendly environment.The Continental breakfast was a highlight of our mornings, and the free onsite car park made exploring the area with our rental bikes hassle-free. The shared bathroom was conveniently located, and the room's small fridge was practical for storing snacks for the kids.We enjoyed exploring the charming village and its local shops and restaurants, creating lasting memories with our family. The easy self-check-in process and proximity to public transportation made our travels smooth and stress-free.Het Anker provided us with a cozy retreat where we could relax after our art-filled days in the Netherlands. We highly recommend this hotel to families looking for a welcoming and authentic Dutch experience.
